His photographs appear in calendars, books, magazines, and corporate web sites. He frequently contributes his photographic skills to local non-government organizations with the aim to promote the appreciation and protection of natural environments and cultural legacies. He served as the President of Nature Saskatchewan, a provincial conservation organization, from 2016-2018.
One of Branimir’s photography projects culminated in the award-winning book The Great Sand Hills: A Prairie Oasis. Together with the author and naturalist Trevor Herriot, Branimir recently released the Islands of Grass, a passionate and beautifully illustrated call to protect the remaining fragments of natural grasslands on the northern plains.
